PRIVACY STATEMENT LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM COULISSE B.V.

Welcome to our learning management system (LMS). We are committed to providing our users with a safe and secure learning environment. Therefore, we feel it is important to be transparent about how we handle our users' privacy.

In this privacy statement, we would therefore like to inform you what personal data we collect, how we protect this data, and what choices you have regarding your privacy under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We recommend that you read this privacy statement carefully before using our LMS.

Data type

By using Coulisse's LMS, we collect and process the following data:

  • Name and contact details, including email address
  • Work-related information, such as position and name of organisation

Coulisse does not process any special personal data.

 

Purposes of processing

Coulisse asks you for your name and contact details in order to offer you our services. This is either because you have requested it, or because an agreement has been entered into with us to this end. We use your contact details to send you information such as our newsletter or new content on the LMS.

 

The bases under the AVG on which we base our processing are:

  1. permission;
  2. performance of contract and/or legitimate interest.

If we have asked for your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by sending a message to [email protected].

 

Security and retention period

We have taken physical, technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.

 

We will not keep your personal data for longer than necessary, but the data will be kept for up to a maximum of one year after unsubscribing from the LMS. After this, the personal data will be deleted. We keep the data for a maximum of one year in case you want to access the LMS again. However, you can ask us to delete your data at any time. Of course, we will then comply with your request immediately.

 

Your rights under the AVG

Under the AVG, you have the following rights:

-       right of inspection - you may ask us for a copy of your personal data;

-       right to correction - you may ask us to rectify or supplement your personal data that you think is inaccurate or incomplete;

-       right to erasure - you may ask us to erase your personal data in certain circumstances (right to oblivion);

-       right to restriction - you may ask us to restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances;

-       right to object - you may object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances; in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes, your right is absolute. This means that we will immediately comply with your request not to send you marketing information (advertising);

-       right to data portability - you may ask us to transfer your personal data you have provided to us to another organisation, or to you yourself, in certain circumstances.

If you cannot come to an agreement with us, you can lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Authority: www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. You can do so, for example, if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not in line with legal requirements, or you otherwise have a complaint.

Coulisse may always amend or update this privacy statement. New versions shall always be published on the website. The latest version of the privacy statement can always be found on the LMS portal.
