Welcome to Coulisse's learning management system (LMS)!
Before you start using our LMS, we would like to agree the following with you. These Terms of Use govern the conditions for using our knowledge portal and related services.
These Terms of Use were last amended on the 13th of November 2023.
1. Acceptance of terms and conditions
By creating an account for the LMS and using the services offered on it, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Account registration
You can use the LMS by creating an account. We ask you to fill in the details correctly and completely during the registration process. You are responsible for keeping your own login details secure and for all activities that take place through your account. Should unauthorised use be made of your account, or a third party have gained unauthorised access to it, you must notify Coulisse immediately by contacting [email protected].
3. Using the online portal
You may only use the LMS for the purposes for which the LMS is intended. This means that you shall only use the LMS in accordance with these Terms of Use and applicable laws and regulations. You may not post, transmit, distribute or otherwise put content online through the LMS that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful. If you use the LMS for other purposes, your account may be suspended by us.
4. Availability
Coulisse will do its best to ensure that the LMS is available at all times. However, we cannot guarantee that the services of the LMS will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Coulisse bears no responsibility for any failures, interruptions or delays on the LMS. Should there be any work in the programme - such as improving the software - a notification of the planned work and its impact on the use of the LMS will appear in advance.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the LMS, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, software, logos and trademarks, is the property of Coulisse and/or its licensors. You may not use, copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or otherwise exploit the content of the LMS without the express written consent of Coulisse.
6. Termination
Coulisse has the right to terminate your account and your access to the LMS at any time and for any reason. Should you no longer wish to use the LMS, you can terminate your account at any time by contacting [email protected].
7. Amendments to the Terms of Use
Coulisse may amend the Terms of Use at any time and for any reason. The amendments will take effect as soon as they are posted on the LMS. If you use the LMS after the changes, it means that you agree to the terms of use. We recommend that you regularly check the terms of use for any changes.
We understand that changes to terms of use can be annoying, and we would like to emphasize that we only make such changes when necessary to improve the LMS or to comply with new laws and regulations. We will always do our best to explain any changes in an understandable way and to keep you informed of any changes we make.
8. Liability
Coulisse shall not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from your use of the LMS. This includes any direct, indirect or consequential damage.
9. Privacy policy
By using the LMS and creating an account on the website, you agree to our privacy policy. You can view the privacy policy here.
10. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms of use are governed by Dutch law. Should there be a dispute at any time, we hope that we will come to a mutual agreement with you. Should that not be the case, disputes arising from or relating to these terms of use may be submitted to the competent court of the District Court of Overijssel, location Almelo.
